"What would you do with the keys to the zoo?"
World of Zoo is a pet simulation game released for PC, Wii, and DS in 2009. It was developed by Blue Fang Games, the now-defunct studio that also created Zoo Tycoon and Zoo Tycoon 2. In this game, you can create animals of many different species. You can give them a realistic look, or you can choose fantastical colors and physical traits. Then, you can interact with them by feeding them, playing with them, grooming them, and more.
As you progress in the game, you will earn tokens that can be used to unlock more animal species or more parts for the animal creator. You can also purchase pre-made animals that come with their own backstories. By bonding with each type of animal, you will unlock more objects you can use to interact with them, such as new toys and types of food. Animal enclosures can be lightly customized - you can use tokens to purchase playsets for your animals to use, and you can change what music is playing (each animal enclosure has two unique songs, or you can opt for silence). You can help your animals look for buried treasure in their enclosures.
