April 12th, 2014. My family and I had gotten home from the store, and they went outside to mow the lawn. I was inside playing Goat Simulator for the very first time and eating candy from a local candy store while intermittently checking Pet Adoptables (an online virtual pet game that is now defunct). I remember this as a very special and fun day.

Goat Simulator quickly became one of my favorite games. The nonsensical scenarios and ragdoll physics would always make me laugh. It was also fun to explore every map to find new fun activities and unlock unique abilities. I would get really excited each time a new DLC was announced. Now that I am older, the game is less funny and more comforting for how nostalgic it is.
